Jesus is many things to us—Savior, Shepherd, Friend, Redeemer. But one picture the Church cannot afford to lose is this:
Jesus is King, and He’s coming again.
So what are we supposed to do while we wait?
In this message, we look at Acts 1, Matthew 9, 2 Peter 3, and Revelation 22 to discover that the return of Christ isn’t meant to produce fear, endless speculation, or complacency. It should produce longing for His presence, urgency in our mission, and compassion for those who don’t yet know Him.
The King’s delay is not neglect.
His delay is mercy.
May we be a Church that prays, “Come, Lord Jesus,” while faithfully carrying His Gospel to the ends of the earth.
