On this Father’s Day message, Pastor Bill explores the difference between simply knowing God’s law and living in relationship with the Father who gave it. While the law reveals God’s character, it was never meant to replace His voice in our lives. Through the contrasting stories of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, and the daughters of Zelophehad, we see the consequences of relying on human wisdom versus bringing our questions, struggles, and decisions before God.
This sermon reminds us that our Heavenly Father welcomes our questions, cares about our circumstances, and still speaks to His children today. Whether facing family challenges, difficult decisions, or seemingly impossible situations, God invites us to trust Him rather than lean on our own understanding. As sons and daughters of God, we are called to seek His guidance, trust His wisdom, and walk in relationship with Him every day.
